Lots of wind scary indeed.

No school again today, they better give us extensions on our assignments. Maddy has no power at all...she called me lastnight. I don't know if they've gotten power since then. Today it's just rainy a bit, the other cyclone, cyclone wati, is heading southwards, so I doubt it will be hitting Cairns. I still have no power, we are still using the generator. Oh man, i have a headache, sleeping is so gross, because it's so hott because our fans aren't working, and my sleeping patterens are all wonky.
Today I might clean my room or something.

Was any of it fun? I know its a werid question to ask, but I've never experinced anything like that before, making you spend time with people you might not normally etc.
Glad to here things are OK your end tho, even if the heat is getting to you.
I too smiled a little at the "notBeingAbleToLiveWithoutAComputer" idea. (I'd be just the same :hee: )

haha Rich, it kinda was fun. My sister francessca stayed with us because she didn't want to be alone in her flat. We laughed alot, and played with the digital camera.
My other sister and her boyfriend went and stayed at a pub, because her friend is the manager there, I laughed SOOOO much when I found out. Because it reminds me of Shaun Of The Dead, when they go to the Winchester. LOLZ
maddy - March 24, 2006 08:22 AM (GMT)
I'm alive, I'm alive!
WOO HOO ELECTRICITY!
OMG five days without it REALLY makes you go insane.
Yes Rich, it's very exciting while it's all happening, until you have to clean up afterwards. We're so lucky, Rosie and I, that it didn't pass over us. Terrible terrible damage:
DISASTER!Yeah, it's pretty major. They say that they won't have electricity for another two months, and nearly everyone lost their homes and all their possessions.
Oh well, life goes on. As for me, I am happy for my powar! =]
Hacky - March 25, 2006 12:51 PM (GMT)
Shaun of the dead is quality! I crack up everytime.
Cyclone sounds like a mighty name and I suppose its suited after seeing the damage it can do. :o
Good your all Ok and getting back to normal.
