Title: What do we like about Dom these days?
Knuxs - February 17, 2006 11:55 PM (GMT)
????? :hee: I was just thinking is Dom still liked for the same reasons as he was a year ago?
I remember for me, it was the "hobbits" on the DVD extras which started me liking his attitudes to life... lately its only been a lot of soppy stuff with Evie... which doesnt suit me at all :hee: there just isnt much there ...
What do we like about Dom now???
(Just a general thought I wanted to develop so feel free to add anything :) )

I'm loving where Charlie is going as a character, so that's my main reason in the talent department.
He means a lot to me, so I don't think I'll ever fall out of the Dom fandom.
Edit: And I've been looking forward to Shooting Livien for a long, long time.

Well... he's DOM!!!
I still love his acting, his personality PLUS without him I'd definitely never met some of the people I really appreciate I could get to learn better.
THANKS DOM!! :hugy:

For me, it was his attitude (positively meant) that attracted me first. Then I discovered he was a good actor too, and he amazes me every time I see something new.
And like Pascal, Dom now also personifies the friends I made on the various Domboards I have visited.

I really love how funny he is. And the way he thinks about life and nature. And offcourse he's still a great actor. I think he's even getting beter too.
I also think he's still very cute.
He has grown as an actor, I believe. I mean, at first I couldn't imagine him playing a bad guy but now he curtenly could be a bad guy as well as a good guy. And when I first started watching lost he reminded me a lot of Merry but now he's just Charlie. I can't really explain what I mean :craze1: :red:
I think I'm trying to say is that I still love him for the reasons I started 'loving' him :hee:

Right now, I am drawn to him especially because of seeing him as Charlie on Lost and how his character has grown, and how he's grown as an actor. Though also he's still very cute. ^_^

I understand what you mean, Heidi. I had the same. Charlie had the same quirkyness as Merry and the same cheeky looks as Dom, but as the series progresses, Charlie becomes a completely different individual, At times, I don't even realise that I'm watching Dom :o
Thát is good acting.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to say :hee:

But I can't help it, he'll always be a bit Merry for me....

i just like... him. He just has that thing about him, can't put my finger on it anymore. But it just keeps me drawn to him.
that fact that he seems to still be this cool, chill guy, even though people REALLY know who he is now.

Because he's still that cheeky lovely guy who was on the LOTR DVDs with his best friends. I ignore any media about him, because I'm not attracted to movie/tv star Dom, I'm attracted to just plain old Dom. He's down to earth, funny, and respects the planet and the people living in it. To me, those qualities make up a really nice person who is worthy of their success ^_^

For me he has come a long way since The lord of the Rings films, and he's more well known now than he was before.
He's still the same lovable, cheeky Dom as he was before.
His acting ability is so much better, and i will look forward to seeing him in many new things in the future.
He's getting better and better looking as he gets older too. :hyper:
