Confirmed: 'Malcolm', '70s Show' to end

Veteran comedy series Malcolm in the Middle and That '70s Show are to finish at the end of their current seasons, broadcast network FOX has confirmed.
Malcolm, currently in its seventh season, has suffered from a move to Friday nights, where it averages less than 3.5 million viewers and ranks as the least-watched show in FOX's schedule.
"FOX is proud to have been the home of this groundbreaking comedy," said Peter Liguori, entertainment president at FOX. "From its innovative production values to its exceptional writers and cast, this series has helped shape the modern sitcom. We'll miss this hilariously loud and manic - yet somehow relatable and admirable - family.

:Bum: Thats a bit sad, but it has had 7 huge years, and this season has struggled with some of the plan werid storylines.
:( most shows seem to run on a 7 year run so not overly upset. Boomer left last season and what I've seen of season 7 it hasnt been any where near as good. I liked MITM before because it had a touch of reality to it, the recent episodes are just crazy and feel like something out of the simpsons. The dolls house costing $10,000 then it bursting into fire and them not having a long enough hose pipe to put it out. WTF is that about?
Here's hoping it ends with a true classic.
Admitedly i havent seen recent episodes, im still on early seasons as i have only just (bit delayed) got in to MITM, but i luv it, and am gutted to hear that, but like i said b4 i still have plenty of eps to watch so its all good! :)

Its not all bad, MITM is a show you can watch again and again, so it wont really ever die.
7 years of storylines is more than enough I feel. Dont hate me please!
I'm looking forward to seeing what the cast will be up to next :hyper:
