And a more serious note: It would be nice if everybody, new new and not so new, posted an intro. Cuz I have not been around for that long and I don't know all the names yet. Calling someone I_heart_dom all the time sounds so impersonal.

Is it possible to put a link to my photobucket anywhere that will be seen on all the pages? The only reason I ask is that I keep seeing people mention smilies they'd like to use, and I have LOADS, I am more than willing to share all the smilies, and all the piccies in my photobucket.

Lische, you can post FanArt in the FanFic-area if it is written, and I guess you can post drawings and photo-thingies in General Multimedia. That's where some of the members already have a thread where they post icons.

I have a small suggestion, how about a live chat room, just for board members? I know www.bravenet.com provide free chat rooms.

I looked into that before and it looks hard to set up (Hmmmm) :( , but if you really want one then start up a poll and if people want it then a chat room is what we will have (Rolly)

I've just set one up for my forum, the free ones on bravenet are fairly simple, so why not see what everyone else thinks, I'll help get it set up if the majority like the idea. (not much point if no-one will use it, of course <lol> )

I have another suggestion. Get a donation button set up. I know this site costs money (as does the level of storage & bandwidth being used on Ripway for our benefit) and paypal do have a donation facililty that can be used. (Cyn had it set up on the Dom Project main site, but I was the only person ever to donate)
If you put it there and make sure everyone knows about it, maybe it will get used and the members can help to keep the board here.

Possibly, money isnt really a huge issue...but it might be useful for future plans >W< watch this space....
I will look into it, and if anyone wants to help out then they can, but I wont be chasing anyone up about it :hee:

I just thought of something... It's not a big deal and I'm not sure whether it would be a popular idea or not, but I thought I'd suggest it anyways. We could have a small little roleplaying section where people could role-play (lost mainly, one where you get to meet Dom or Billy or Elijah.... or just random ones where you eat pineapple and jump around fighting crazy fluffy monsters, or a different one based on a movie/book/your imagination) it's just a crazy suggestion that can be tossed aside at any moment. :hee: we have a lot of crazy at the board bar already, but if thats what you guys would like, I have no problem with it. (Rolly) I dont really know what it is to be honest, :thinky: if it doesnt involve any programs into the board, then please feel free to start one up right now. Its a bit late over here, so in the morning if you or someone fleshes out what a RPG(ame) is on a board for me, I'd be more than happy to listen.
