Title: Your Media Player Top 5
Description: No cheating now *wink*

Knuxs - December 6, 2005 05:27 PM (GMT)
OK most media players, Windows/Itunes etc have a record of your top played songs. So I thought why not list them for everyone else to see. see what rocks, if anyone has the same top 5 or how many in common etc I think 5 songs is enough, and if you list how many times that songs been played too. :Wink1: Like this:

1) Further - Long View 102 (plays)
2) Since U been gone - Kelly Clarkson 98
3) Under the Thumb - Amy Studt 90
4) All of You - Vertical Horizon 85
5) We'll never Know - Lifehouse 79

Hestia - December 6, 2005 06:05 PM (GMT)
My Mediaplayer won't show the top 5 of most played songs, but I think this is my current top 5:

1. Rufus Wainwright - Instant Pleasure
2. Robbie Williams - A Place to Crash
3. Arctic Monkeys - I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor
4. The Weird Sisters - Do The Hippogriff
5. John Mayer - New Deep

meriadoc0412 - December 6, 2005 08:30 PM (GMT)
Mine doesn't list the songs either, but my 5 at the mo would be:

1. Madonna - Hung uup
2. Robbie Williams - Advertising Space
3. Take That - Once you've tasted love
4. Franz Ferdinand - Take me out
5 the Cure - Lullaby

gmanuk - December 6, 2005 10:21 PM (GMT)
I've just been putting mine on shuffle lately and these are my top 5 at the mo:

1. Madonna - Hung Up
2. Dannii Minogue - Perfection
3. Madonna - How High
4. Madonna - Sorry
5. Madonna - Get Together

Not that random is it?

For those of you not sure how to find out what your most played songs are - it's dead easy.

If you use Windows Media Player go into the Music Library and click on the Library Options button (should be near the top) and then go to Choose Columns. You then will have a box of all the various columns that can be shown, so just go to Play Count and tick the box next to it.

It'll only tell you how many times you've played songs since you've ticked the box to show the Play Count column though.

I hope that makes some kind of sense.. >W<

gmanuk - December 6, 2005 11:02 PM (GMT)
I knew you meant Madonna - I was just messing with you!

I LOVE the new album, although the only downside is the fact it's a non-stop mix. That's only a small niggle anyway.

meriadoc0412 - December 6, 2005 11:25 PM (GMT)
You're right.... that's the only thing I don't really like about it.
But to be honest, I had to listen to it a few times before I could say I love it.
But I never liked an album, no matter by who, after listening to it for the first time....

gmanuk - December 6, 2005 11:53 PM (GMT)
Apparently on iTunes and other download-y sites you can get the album as separate tracks. Which is alright I spose, although they really should've just NOT mixed it in the first place. I spose they could've done it as a double CD, one mixed - one not.

Anyway the album is great not really one dud track on it. The only one I'm not all that keen on is Isaac.

Welsh Lass!!! - December 7, 2005 12:06 AM (GMT)
My top 5 are:

Kelly Clarkson - Because of You

Madonna - Like a Virgin

James Blunt - Wisemen

Sean Paul - We'll Be Burnin

My mediaplayer doesn't do that... is it something for the 10 Series? Cuz I still have Mediaplayer 9, my compie isn't really up for technology made after the change of millennia.

Edit: Ah, I've found it! If you rightclick on one of the columnheads (artist/album/classification) you get a list with other options. In Dutch it is called Afspeelteller.
So hereby my real top 5:

Joseph Arthur - In the Sun (53)
The Cranberries - Ridiculous Thoughts (52)
Mission Impossible Main Theme (51)
Goo Goo Dolls - Iris (46)
Nelly Furtado - Try (42)

Interesting: they were inspirational tracks when I wrote a story, that's why I listened to them quite a bit!

Fawkes - December 7, 2005 07:27 PM (GMT)
They arent in order, its too shameful otherwise :red:

1) Razorlight - Golden Touch

2) Ocean City Girl - Ivy

3) The Bravery - Honest Mistake

4) Spice Girls - Wannabe

5) Lindsay Lohan - Over

Kim - December 8, 2005 06:34 PM (GMT)

2: What A Feeling - Flashdance OST 25
3: Footloose 23
4: Get Into The Groove - Madonna 14
5: Summer Of 69 - Bryan Adams/Vogue - Madonna (it was a tie) 11

I think it's very obvious by looking at this list that I love the 80's!

Heehee, different computer, different Mediaplayer. This may come in shocking for some viewers:

1. John Mayer - A Lovesong for No one (2)
2. John Mayer - Neon (2)
3. John Mayer - My stupid Mouth (2)
4. John Mayer - No Such Thing (2)
5. John Mayer - Daughters (2)

Some explanation: this computer broke down a couple of months ago, so I lost all of the music on it. I got some of it back, but since I don't really listen to music when I'm at my parents (pc is in the livingroom...) Mediaplayer hasn't been used and the songs haven't been played that much.
