ok well im really mad cause i had this awesome post then somehow it got deleted before i got to post it.

so anyways.

i love marching shows. what a marching show essitially is the music and the 'sets' or the movement of the band on the field. they are so complex, and that everyone out there wants to be and its literally like a family. i mean, speding 8 hours a day in 100 degree weather with little or no breaks for over 3 weeks of your summer will do that to you. and singing the show in class cause its been stuck in your head for a month definately helps you learn your part. lol. knowing your apart of something, and without you in wouldnt be the same is a great feeling. ok anyways so that covers i love marching band. but its not something you automaticly get. i mean its hard. you have to heel-toe like theres no tomarrow. you have to pretend there is a sticker on the bottom of your shoe, and you want the people in the press-box to see it. and then there are slides. oh, the slides, a slide is when you are say, marching to the right, but you want your torso to face the front. and while doing so, your shoulders have to be paralell to the front. and if your not hurting while your doing it, your doing it wrong. lol

Oh sorry lol, we use it over here when we see something in American culture that just seems an extreme extravagance. Like the whole sports spirit for a game of something that in truth really doesn’t have any significance. Basically it’s because we aren’t use to it, if that makes sense. :unsure: Oh boy I bet we sound like real boring old farts. :lollol:

That clip is cool :hyper: , it reminds me of really old times, when royalty was in town or coming into the place or something. Sounds really powerful and full of status. :YES: :clap:

Yeah, Marching Band!!! I don't know if I'm AS enthusiastic, but..I do love it! I'm in Color Guard, and it is SO much fun. I bet you guys rock.!

I am a new guy, that is in love with marching band. I am a horn player and one of two brass captains at WWHS, Woodrow Wilson High School. I hope to one day have a band of my own. I am going to go to Marshall U. When I leave high school. I am also Trying out for Drum Major, I wnat it so bad that i think I am going to die if i don't get it . I hope to talk to u guys soon bye.

I need some ideas for some marching shows, I think that we need to to something with movies, however i don't know if thats what we will do.I thanks guys
