OK once again it’s another underrated show, and once again it’s thanks to pure luck that I came across it.

It’s awesome, showed by UPN in the states and I guess it will air in the UK and other places eventually, but of course in modern age there is no reason to wait around.

So let’s start with the basics. It’s focused on Veronica Mars, the daughter of a Private Investigator, she is witty, charming and all round likeable character



She is really strong willed and is the show. Although she is still in high school, she helps other students with problems etc. It sounds kinda boring, and some eps in season one are, it gets predictable. So why is it good?

Throughout the first season there is a huge story arc that spans an entire season, her best friend her boyfriends sister) was murdered, and Veronica’s dad is sure that they got the wrong man. She can’t let go and investigates it… of course she is right something is very wrong with the whole story about the murder. It takes a whole season to get to the end, while going though lots of overall issues, her mother running away, finding out she might be her Boyfriends sister to name a few.

The last three episodes are truly some of the best TV I’ve watched in a long time, very emotional and dramatic, and I wont spoil it for anyone who has yet to see it.

Season 2, so far is great too, new year a new huge overall mystery to tackle while dealing with the smaller ones every episode… its TV at its finest… :hyper:

I walked the first ep and wanted to continue watching it, but nooooo I wanted to watch the second ep and my dad wanted to watch something else. So I missed out and then...forgot about it.

The Murder and Her Mum are heavy themes I dont think I should spoil it for you (Trust me on this) In every ep Veronica or someone finds out a little something about the overall mystery and it gets added to the collection, and when you get to the end of the season your like "WTF???? I never saw that one coming" Then again you might work it out before :Wink1:

The mum stuff just shows the great relationship she has with her dad... :dkiss: If you really want to know I'll tell you of course but I cant stress how much better it is when you dont know whats going to happen...

I have watched the first three eps and i think its cool. like Dick said, Veronica is a likeable character, and i luv the fact that no-one scares her, not even the biker boys!

one random question, is her dad the bloke out of 'just shoot me' (currently on c4 in the morning in the uk)???

I love this, my kind friend sends over one of those download hosting sites. I really enjoy, its like buffy a little with a stong female and guys following her.

The mysterys are hard to solve 2, like you never know until the last few seconds normally.

Very snazy and another massive mystery for Veronica to solve by the looks of it. The bus crash storyline. :clap:

I was brought season 1 as a present a few months back and become a veronica junkie, luvs Duncan Kane, he DOES look like the guy off home and away Rick :hee:

Not overly keen on the new look credits but thats only a few seconds of a otherwise brilliant show.

Caught the season premiere, as did my sister. We both thought there was something a little out of place with it, but we couldn't quite figure out what it was.

is that a :YES: or :NO: to watching it again? Good that you gave it a shot! Just watched it this afternoon, and thought it was classic Veronica, some of the new cast are pretty fit as well :drool1:

Uh Oh, although the show has done really well this season, its future is unclear... so if you are in the US and like it, WATCH IT MORE and tell people about it!


1. Next season will start off from this one (Which sounds the best)

2. Next season is set 5 or so years into the future and Veronica is a FBI agent. (Sounds OK, but like number 1 more)
