Season 7 Burning Man


Awesome! I’ve been watching the early seasons recently and there are no where as many laughs (for me at least) the later seasons have rocked… Totally, the new it word. :lol:

The boys look a little different, Dewey looks more mature, his features seem more defined, his voice is perfect in his young Malcolm version type sarcastic ways. Malcolm (Frankie) has thicker eyebrows and longer curly hair; it makes him look totally older… Reese (Justin) has thinner eyebrows me thinks he had a date with the tweezers over the summer, as well as his usual dark stubble shinning through, which makes him look older too. Jamie... I’m not sure if he is played by a different actor or if it’s just baby growth, bottom line, he looks the most changed.

So it begins, Malcolm and Reese want to go to the burning Man Festival. And it turns into a family trip, I love those types of episodes the most I think. No Francis at all.

They write a note on the bog roll, its hysterical; when you find out they had toilet problems the night before so get found out. You have to be there. :hee:

Lois; “This burning person sounds like a lot of fun, what a great idea Malcolm!”
Reese to Malcolm; “Yeah maybe next year we can take Grandma to Mari Gar (Sp?)”

Grandma is a bigot, so going to a gay festival = joke. (In case you missed that)


Psychic; “Oh Malcolm... We can never see each other again”.
Malcolm; “What???”
Psychic; “This can never work your just way too malleable, condescending cynic I can deal with but this, I don’t want you doing things just because I want you to do them”
Malcolm; “Then I wont if that’s what you want! (pause) Crap”

Reese to Lois “I still can’t believe how awesome Burning Man was we are totally going back next year right?
Lois in a seductive whisper to Reese “Totally”


Some of the scenes drag on to long without any real point, the guy spraying people with Stanley’s ashes and then talking to Reese is a bit odd as is the psychic and Malcolm ser small talk. But seeing as Malcolm ends up having sex we will let him off.


Dewey; He just does the boring jobs like emptying the “waste” from the RV, gross as you see it sloshing over his T- shirt *gags*



Hal; Acts like normal, but everyone around him thinks its some sort of act, the more conservative and closed minded he becomes the more the crowd cheers and gathers.



Lois; really embraces the spirit of it, and takes part in the topless hippy group



Jamie; No storyline really, he just follows Lois around in the hippy area.



Malcolm; Meets a girl, tries to impress her succeeds, gets laid then for the rest of the episode he tries to get her back.



Reese; As normal he is resistant to what’s different to his way of life, but after giving it a shot he changes totally and becomes an avid supporter of what he thought was bad, becomes the burning man’s saviour at the end by refusing to light the statue of the “man”. It all gathers together as Hal trys to get everyone into the RV, everyone arrives in one way or another at the statue and Reese ends up setting the RV alight to which everyone chants “burning van, burning van”






Not that many funny quotes, or rather one’s that can be written because they do better in the way they are said, and in the correct context. :hyper:

Also a bit random but is Reese gay in this season?

Is that true Knuxs or just thoughts? :Wink1: I always thought he acted a little camp in his role of Reese, but yeah if you google him, he has a lot of pics with dogs and kittens, not saying that's a gay thing, but its rare for a straight man to do things like that. As normal the biggest sus point is that he has never been linked with a girl. He is sexy I agree. Season 4 hair was his best. :lol:


Dewey is getting so mature :o On Burning man he was either having a sweaty day or they gave him so much makeup to cover up some major spots.

To be honest I dont know if he is gay or not, but like you pointed out there are things to suggest it.



Health Insurance.

Wasn’t the best episodes I’ve seen but there were some classic funny parts. Again like Last weeks, there were a few long, long scenes that were just out of place. Felt more like filler than plot. In some of the other seasons one scene had Hal sharping a pencil and Lois just staring at him, it lasts for a good minute with nothing being said, it was one of the funniest parts of the episode, these new longer scenes just don’t do it for me. :(

Anyway Hal finds out he hasn’t paid the health insurance so locks everything sharp and dangerous away, the boys find an email with them starting in some sort of gay porn flick, and want revenge. Hal grounds them and the roof falls on him breaking his ankle. It’s all a bit crazy to be fair.




Lois is at work and the workers are plotting a formation of a union, to which it gets reported to the boss who then sacks people. Lois thinks the snitch is Craig…



It was fun to watch, aren’t they all, but its not one that gives you loads of laughs, and the ending is just plain weird. I’m sure it cuts off the last few lines or something.

Is that Craig with the foam? :lol: It looks fun I dont see why you didnt enjoy it. Your lucky you get to see it at all chum. :(

There is so much gay suggestion in MITM its so funny, little gay jokes here and there, hints at it. I'll never forget Pearl Habour that was enough to put me on the floor, I was so Jessica (woW> Does she appear in any more eps?

So the next MITM is this Friday yes? :thinky: I wonder that will hold. I have to admit the ideas that they come up with are outstanding how' its lasted 7 seasons is beyond me, but you could say the same about Simpsons. :YES:

Bryan is such a good good good actor his voice (and Justins screams when Reese is being bashed or in pain) are so clever and well done they make me larffff!!!


Season 7 must almost be over in the states now, Sky one are finally showing it (woW> I think Burning man is one of the best episodes in MITM history. (watched at 8 times)
