You spend some time making something creative in the hope that others like your work and vote for you, thus having your efforts displayed to everyone here as well as all the guests who come to the board. Lost and Lost Area
It’s coming up to that time of year again! Lost is due to hit the American shores in oh about 4 days! So if you have any season two talk, spoilers, shared excitement please post in the season two area, and not one also when it starts to air don’t forget to add your comments in the season two lost area.

Journals

Located in YOU, out of the way although they don’t seem that popular, they aren’t in the way and its being used if only by a few people, thus for the foreseeable future they are fixed. The password to that is located about the board, if you can’t find it and want to either read what members have been up to or want to start one yourself, PM a Moderator or get it from the Hidey hole



Medals

Who wants them? You get them placed near your profile data so near your avy, post count etc. Any ideas for what you get medals for? Or are you willing to make some (small maybe 20 by 20 pixels max) then post up some ideas here or PM one of the D and F team.



Pop Up Poll Results

I’m running out of ideas, and the only thing left is the codes and people’s siggys. So in order to weed the pop up code out I’m taking things off line for a while, so if you come along and your signature isn’t working or one of the codes doesn’t work don’t worry. I’d be appreciative of any feedback on the status of the pop ups as “removal” work gets underway.


Upgrade news

Finally (woW> some small work is being carried out, the board might be off for a few hours over the coming weeks as its shut down for maintenance.

Worthy Notes

In a funny way this is again the second worst week of D and F posting, with an identical post count (yes I did check I hadn’t just copied last weeks by mistake :hee: )

I voted none of the above and clicked "add reply" to explain my vote. :lol:

The spam-block-thingy did affect me, when I was posting in the random effect-area. To be more precise, I couldn't just say "Coldplay" because it hadn't had enough characters, while I just wanted to say "Coldplay". It sucked, and that's why I stopped posting...

No, that last thing isn't true, I'be just been extremely busy the last weeks. Although filming is done, I was exploited as an office-clerk until it nearly drove me crazy. And about the calmness/deadness of the board: seeing no one posting works demotivating. So maybe I should start posting like mad, hoping that I affect others, thus bringing life back.

I think everyone is trying to get life back on track after the summerhols... but be prepared: in a week's time, my internship over and I have loads of spare time all of a sudden. I hope to spend lots of time here!

I hope so too, and agree totally, its great when you come to a board and can have almost "real time" talks with people, when your waiting days for a answer it sort of gets... well boring. If you find MODor your see a way around your problem :Wink1:


Well the big banner at the top is EXAMPLE ONLY. Its an idea of what things will look like with a bigger banner. Feedback as always is the only way to make things better.

wow medals. Are they like scouting badges :badword: Hmmm, let me think, what could we give medals for. Maybe biggest Dom picture spammer. Or most concerned about others. How about best advice. Wittiest remarks. I dunno. There can be so many things.

That's a crying pity. D and F is always worth a good read. Stick it out its a gerat place great people, I'm sure it will get busy again. :)

I havent been on much the last few monhs because real world :( but if I have time I will try from now on, hope everyone is well. :hugy:

Thanks everyone its great to see some old faces (and new) again :)

I will put the next board news/songs up in the next day or so, things have been a bit mad of late.

Also I removed the most likely board code for these "ads" if you are still getting them, even if its just the once PLEASE TELL ME HERE. The code I got rid of is useful and I would like it back if its not the cause. :)

Its been mad this week, <>Z :hyper: so rather than have a board news for just one or two days, I'm gonna double it up this weekend. :)
