Title: Basic Malcolm in the Middle Talk

Knuxs - September 11, 2005 08:10 PM (GMT)
This show is the best! It comes a close second to my favorite show of all time and can always give me a laugh no matter what...Over here we are well behind the US.. season 5 is showing now and yet season 7 starts in the US on the 30th!

I want to know if there are any other fans out there. Who do you like the best, who makes you smile whats the best eppy you have seen etc Yeah its a bit random, but its so cool, lots of insane issues but never sets out to make a point... (normally :hee: )

Some screen caps from "Reese Comes Home" to give you some idea.

Dewey and Malcolm are at an art fair, thinking about Reese as they accept that now he is in the army he could be dead

In true Malcolm and the middle style, the boys are having a deep and meanful talk whilst releasing dirty filled nappies over the art fair. que lots of screaming and gross sounds.

The boys are all together again awww as they watch a 5 pounder fall on a group of rapping grannies

 Malcolm is so annoying how could you have a crush on him :hee:

Still I think Reese is great and he is a nasty bully so yeah... I'm as mad as you :craze1:

Its been so long since I have watched the early eps so I’m digging them out now… I really have enjoyed season 5 plus… as the boys got older they have had to spend more time with Lois and Hal and they are amazing, now Dewey has many more lines and its just so funny with him around now. He is such an ace actor, they all are. Fingers crossed they make it to season 8, although I’ve heard this one (7th) is the last. :(

The only think that annoys the hell out of me is that in every scene they are wearing something different, I mean who changes their clothes 4 times a day?

Some of the best quotes from "Ida Loses a leg" (nasty thing into fun!)

QUOTE
Ida: "Can you take the soap opera outside? I wanna watch the whore that gives the weather."

QUOTE
Lois: Francis, everyone else in this family has either shcool or a job, so you're staying here and helping your grandmother.
Ida: I don't need help. Look at him, he has nothing between his legs and he manages.
Francis: If you think I'm above punching you, you are totally wrong.
Ida: Of course you'd hit a cripple, you couldn't even get a white girl to marry you!
Lois: Stop it, both of you! Can you go five seconds without screaming at each other?

4 seconds later....
Ida + Francis: blah blah blah

QUOTE
Dewey: "I wonder which nightmare I'm gonna have tonight... 'the forest of severed legs' or 'drowning in grandma's blood'. Well good night!"

Yeah, I love it too! Too bad that I missed it tonight... I occasionally watch it on the BBC, but I often forget it. And about being behind: the last season that was shown on Dutch TV was season 3. And I had seen that twice on the BBC already!

I used to have a crush on Francis and Reese, but I'm over that now :hee:

Funny, sexy lads, (yes I'm young enough!) comedy at its best, cause I love this show too (woW> I'm glad the BBC are showing it in a fixed time slot this year around.

Um yeah I like the older seasons more because they have more to them, when they were younger it was funny but the jokes were far and few. Basically MITM rules!

It was on last night (BBC2) Malcolm was on the base ball team and it was so crazy I just pissed myself laughing. I mean such mother issues. :hee: Hal's storyline was 'odd' was it a job for the FBI or something?

So we must be about half way through season 4 in the UK does that sound about right?

This thread seems popular so I've added it to the Harry Potter area. if its basic talk, post here if its something more then start a new thread. Might be best to start a thread for each season. :Wink1:

Anyway on BBC2 Beth its Season 5 not 4. Season 7 starts in the US this Friday entittled "Burning Man". I'm in the process of added dates to the calendar so check that out if you want more details.
:)

OK  Thank you for that. I think I will start a season 5 thread somewhere then. Its a crime not too enjoy this show. Hal's screams thats all I can think about, he is a cool dude. :hee: Like Homer Simpson.

Roll on Sunday. Will there be any way I can get hold of season 7 eps because I dont live in 'We get the best shows first united states' ?
