After Walkabout last night I switched over to E4 and watched this.
It was sort of disappointing after Walkabout. Jack's attitude is boring now, its clear to the viewer that Jack is going to be the big hero, save loads of lives, makes mistakes but always be forgiven where others wont. I suppose I was hoping that everyone would be "equal" :( so that's the worst thing about lost so far.
This was a Jack episode, it explained the strange man and now they have water and a cave if they need it, I was a little confused about the ending, where was the body in the coffin??? Did I miss something?
Locke was good again, helping Jack. I think he will be the father figure throughout.
Averge for me nothing really stood out and it was dull. Might watch again next week and give it another go. See if its better then. :blah:
Have to say I'm really loving the show now. It seems to improve with each episode.
I'm really liking how these flashbacks are only giving us part of each character's backstory. I spose it's so they can flesh them out in later episodes and keep you watching I guess.
I was quite worried when Jack went into the jungle all on his lonesome. Had he totally forgotten about the ginormous unseen thing? I had a feeling it would've attacked him, especially when he yelled out "Where are you?" or maybe when he went into that cave. I was just waiting for something to jump out at him!
What was the deal with that coffin though - was it his father's or someone else's. And if it was his father's - where the hell is the body?!
And to end on a totally shallow note - HALF NAKED BOONE!! :drool1: (tudy<
I thought about that all last night, someone suggested that his body might have got eaten or might not have even been on the plane, Customs dont normally change their mind when they say "no" so perhaps Jack had to dump the body and pretended that it was in the coffin. Thats why he saw him walking around the island. It did seem like the whole episode was about Jack living in his father's shadow, and Gmanuk come on Alias fan! JJ has a problem with fathers #haha# he loves having them around, so maybe he will come back and haunt jack because he wasnt burried.
White Rabbit by the Jefferson Airplane wa a classic drug song. Any connections with Charlie's state. (woW>
