Peter Jennings died tonight at 67 of Lung Cancer.. He was a news anchor for ABC for many, many years. I pray for his family in their hard time. I was personally very surpised by the news of his death.

O, I was real upset when he died. He was one of the three network anchormen who for twenty years dominated US news.
And on a personal note, when he was in England a mate of mine was his au pair, and I remember going around to his house to see her, though Peter was not there at the time (it was when he was in London as a correspondent. RIP :DARK:

I suppose its a bit late now, but who was he? :unsure: Did he smoke or something, its so awful when people throw their lives away like that. If he died from some other reason then its my bad.
