So, the new Dada-teacher has been introduced! What do you think of him? I'm in two minds, just like Harry. Slughorn must be a capable teacher, but his character is a bit shady and opportunistic.
And then the conversation between Dumbledore and Harry in the broomshed at the Burrow. Harry has grown a lot during the first weeks of summer, and not just physically. He has learned how to take on downfalls and move on with his life. The fragment nearly brought tears to my eyes, just like the bit of background on Lily.
He is very odd....but arent they all #haha# I do like that about the books, every year there is someone new....BUT every year they are invloved in the main story...so I wonder what Slughorn will have up his sleve.
Again I enjoyed Dumbledore, he wasnt in it enough the last book, but his wit and good muggle sense is always fun to read...
Maybe I missed something but why did he mess up the house?
I thought because he doesn't want to take a side in the war, so he just pretends to be murdered whenever anyone comes to find him and ask him to work for them.
Slughorn made me think of Lockhart, but then a bit different.
I think he messed up the house for the Death Eaters to see that no one in there is alive.
That's why Dumbledore reminded him that the Dark Mark had been missing over the house. At least that's what my brains made me understand
but I was completely thrilled by the description of the house and the rooms when Dumbledore and Harry entered *shivers*
