With the release of the sixth book in smelling distance (only 3 more hours here in the Netherlands!) I was wondering if anyone of you is going to a "releaseparty" or something. I have enlisted myself for a pre-order of the book at a local store, and I got an invitation for a special Potter-night. It starts at 22.30 with a quiz where you can win bookcoupons, and you have a ten percent change of winning a book. I was planning on going, but I just got back from work after a very long day, so my energylevel is quite low. I don't think I'd make it to the store. Those 15 minute bikeride will tire me out completely.

So probably no HP for me tonight, allthough I really really really want to read it... If I'm still awake at a quarter to twelve I'll hop on my bike and make the trip downtown.

You should!! Our local store is getting people to dress up as wizarding folk, and the best dress gets a prize and discount on the book (woW> (We are too old! So not for me) its going to be crazy but a great feeling too, be able to look back and say "i was there" the only problem is Big Brother! The twist happens tonight and like everyone else in the UK who has a brain (or not) is addicted #haha#

I went! And it was bloody hot in the store because the airco broke down. Anyways, I didn't went to see the whole event. I got in the store just after 11.30, saw a bit of the quiz, some people who were dressed up as Hogwarts-students, and I got my book. Not with a discount or for free though... I wasn't one of the lucky winners...

But I got my book! It still nicely wrapped, but I'm gonna take a peek now!
