I have read them several times in German and English... But not the extra books...

Are they interesting?

Knuxs - July 14, 2005 10:41 PM (GMT)
Yeah I think they are fun, both are short, maybe 40 pages, they were for Comic relief a few years back. Anyway both books explore a aspect of the magical world, one is a whole history of Quidditch, and I mean WHOLE its very detailed and the second is all about the "beasts" and animals in the book's, that's fun to read too.

Below are the front covers and links to Amazon, if you want to read more or maybe even buy them.... (Rolly)

I've read the books once. They don't do much for me aside from telling an entertaining story.

Meriagrin Brandytook - July 15, 2005 08:51 AM (GMT)
I've read all the books (except the 2 extras - but I'll get them sooner or later). I can't wait for tomorrow to get the next book, I just hope it's not as slow a read as 'Order Of The Phoenix' is. And roll on Winter when the next film is out!!!

Tigerlily - July 15, 2005 09:58 AM (GMT)
I'm so excited for tomorrow. Can't wait for the book. I don't feel as hyper as I did before watching the first lost ep, but it's getting pretty darn close.

I've read all of them more than once btw.

I hope the mailman delivers it before I leave for Amsterdam. If not I'm gonna have to stick a note on my letterbox telling him to hand it to my neighbour. I DON'T WANT TO WAIT TILL MONDAY!!!

edit: oh DARN, I have to leave at 10 tomorrow. NUTS, NUTS, NUTS.

I've read all but the new one. I hope to get that soon.
Love them. I also own all the movies that are out. Can't wait for
the new movie. :Bounmir:

I own them all and love them all. the other two books as well. my favorite is the fourth one though

I've read them all millions of times! my PS is almost beyond repair so I'll have to get a new one. I can't find my CoS but frankly I don't really care because I don't like it, my POA disintegrated last week so I have to get that again, my GOF is almost readable, my OOTP is okay except for a split along the spine (from falling off my bed so often when I fell asleep reading it), and my HBP is still pristine (of course, I've only had it a month!).

IloveDommie - September 2, 2005 02:20 AM (GMT)
i've read prisoner of azkaban, goblet of fire, order of the phoenix, and the new one : half-blood prince :D 4/6...! lol, i got into HP late...lol.

Mrs. Took - February 5, 2006 02:41 PM (GMT)
Read them all several times...including the extra books and background books about all the mythical creatures and names in the books (very interesting literature)...

I just can't get enough of them..^^

I am currently re-reading the HP books, enjoyable when you are on a sick leave. :hee:

All of my HP books are in English, except for Order of the Phoenix. Bought the first three ones on the flea market for 2 € (Rolly) and the other ones in the bookstore because I couldn't wait.

I didn't know about the two additional books, while I'll surely get the Fantastic Beasts, I don't think I'd buy the Quidditch one. All kinds of sports don't interest me the slightest. Not even Quidditch.

tom19891 - July 29, 2006 07:11 PM (GMT)

Hestia - July 30, 2006 07:44 AM (GMT)
About the French books: as soon as you've read book4, will you tell us how they translated the French accents of Fleur and her Headmistress?

I'm gonna read books 5 and 6 again. Has been way too long! I think I finished book 6 exactly a year ago (was busy with work and didn't want to rush through it but enjoy it thoroughly).
