The next Elf fantasy fair will take place on 23 en 24 april 2005. I read Andy Serkis is gonna be there.
I was just wondering. Has any of you ever been there? What's it like? Cuz it sounds like huge fun.

I have some friends who've been there, and they're planning on going this year too. I've heard that Billy Boyd was to come too, but I don't know if it were just rumours.

The theme this year will be Pirates, which sounds interesting. But I don't know if I'm in the right financial position to go to such a fair, and if I have time for it. It's right before a deadline of a Uni-course.

Last year Craig Parker and Andy Serkis were there! They both are so funny!
Andy had to go home a day early because his wife was having a baby, that's why he's coming back this year! I was the one who said Billy might be there... I hope he will! (bEg) But for some reason I think the won't anounce that a few weeks before... Well, I know they're working on it! Maybe he'll bring Dom... No, that's just wishfull thinking <Ton?

There is also a lot of music there, mostly Irish and fantasy kinda music.... There will be an Irish dans group...
There also are writters and other actors...

Last year with Andy and Craig they were standing in a tent and you could ask them questions... no fences or anything! At one point Craig walked up to me and I really didn't know where to look! I'm so damn shy (&*"£>

He's so brilliant! I remember he did this Gollum/Smeagol scene last year, it was amazing! To see his face change and all... and his voice! Reaaly good! I filmed that and watched it over and over! <-->

I was thinking about questions yesterday. And thought of one. I still have to put it in good words. So I'll just do it in Dutch now.

wel een lange intro. Ik vraag me altijd af hoe het komt dat mensen beroemd worden. Ik bedoel, in den beginne zijn we allemaal gelijk. En toch worden sommige mensen beroemd en andere niet. Billy is ook maar een gewone jongen en toch. Hij is in LOTR terecht gekomen. Wat ik wil weten is: hoe denkt hij daarover. Waarom is hij nu juist gekozen voor de rol van Pippin en niet de acteur die na hem auditie deed.

Wat ik ook wel zou willen weten is waar hij denkt te zijn geweest als hij LOTR's niet had gedaan. Wat voor leven zou hij dan nu leiden.

On the Question about the Magazine:

I've bought it in a big book store (not the Bruna..the Bruna doesn't have it)..you probably have to ask for it..for most of the time the magazine is almost unfindable....

Just visited the elf fantasy website. I have to get that magazine. It says that if you subscibe now, you get a fee ticket to Elf fantasy fair. I'm gonna hunt for it tomorrow.

If you get your membership at the fair you ussualy get a present by the way. When I got mine I got the Guinevere thrilogy! And a free magazine!

Yeah they usually have 'bigger' presents at the fair if you subscribe there ;) The EFF ticket is 'only' 16 euro...

Oh by the way..you really should buy your ticket in the pre-sale...because if you buy your ticket at the fair you will have to stand in line for more than an hour (at least last year it such a big line)....
