$40, for only 6 issues? Sadly, I will pass.
But thanks for the info!

Cool, Titan do a good job over here in England and if we get the chance I'll be buying it certainly. 3 pound 50 pence is about the right price for a UK glossy mag...but I suppose it might seem like a lot of money for nothing. #haha#
It be all down to how fanatical you are about the show. :thank1: for the info and link.

I really hope the 'American Bookstore' in Amsterdam is going to sell them..I'd love to have that magazine...only if it is just one issue...^_^ I'm really curious what will be in the magazine..I mean how can you fill like 30 pages with all LOST related stuff..and that 6 times a year??
Thanks for the info!! (--)

I'm excited about the magazine, but I'm not sure if I'm going to subscribe just yet. There's still a few months before the fall... <Ton?

Mrs. Took, its actually twice as much as 30 pages. lol.
yea, im gonna wait until later to subscribe. to at least see what the covers gonna look like! (you can judge a magazine by its cover. lol.)
im willing to pay $40. i already have the money. i was gonna use it to buy a tshirt, but why pay for a tshirt with my own money, when i can just get it for my birthday thats in 3 weeks? plus the magazine will help out my scrapbook.

Over here in the UK they do really really well. Buffy has finished over here some years ago now and yet they STILL have a monthly mag, the format is like this:
The front cover normally has "manips" like it will link loads of the cast together, but it looks really good, no fake stuff.
News section on Lost, for the first 12 pages or so they will talk about Lost around the globe what the actors have been doing, mini quotes/pictures stuff like that.
Then they normally have a interview with one cast member, for a few pages complete with fancy pictures and things it always looks VERY good.
Then a article on something to do with the filming, maybe on set with Lost, and thats quite good lets you hear what goes on behind the scenes and stuff.
A random eppy in detail look and a double sided poster (woW> (Again VERY nice looking)
In Buffy lol they have a mini cartoon script which is 8 pages or so.
Adverts, both for the show and other projects, so maybe Alias too as they have the same creater. Books, games, reviews etc.
Depending when it gets released they feature a few pages of what the coming episodes will be.
Then "Lostlines" or mail section in the UK versions, Buffy, Star Trek, Simpsons, Alias, Smallville all have a pen pal section. Then a quiz about the show (normally they are hard) finally a look at the next issue.
All in all they get to about 52 pages. Its got glossy covers and has free gifts every so often, like huge posters T - Shirt transfers.
I doubt that format will be the same, my dad gets the star trek one and it has all the same stuff but it's slightly bigger and it doesnt all happen in that order, it looks different too. :hee:
Anyhow I hope that gives you some idea of how they normally do things over here.... :fly:

i really want this..
hmm.. they have the alias, buffy, smallvile and star trek magazines in Australia, do you think that means that we'll get the lost one. i would think so because alias is JJ Abrams too so we probably will..
i'll be so pissed if we don't.

Personally I think it will come down to profit, just how popular is Lost in Australia? If it doesnt do all that well it wont be worth the company shipping it out and running a Australian version, i.e a new cover with a different price etc.
I'm excited about Lost in the UK as the show finally starts in just under 2 months and its going to be huge (fingers and toes crossed) so we get the show just as the mag starts so it will be something to follow which will be ace. (woW>

lost has been the number one watched show in australia pretty much every week since it came on (february 4th) only giving out to desperate housewives on the occasional week to become number two. so i don't think there is any question about the popularity.
i just want it to come here!

Has anyone heard anything more about this mag? I know the first link says October but I would have thought we would have heard something about it by now, in other countries and stuff.
I'm looking forward to it even if I have to import it all the way from the US. :hee:
