I was just wondering, where are you all gonna spend your summer vacation??

I'm going to Belgium with my parents and a friend of mine. I've been there a couple of time with friends and it's a great spot. We can go hiking, biking, rafting. And of course relax.

And in September I'm going to Spain for a week with a group of women. On of them has a house there. It's close to Barcelona so we'll definitely go there for a day or so. I'm really looking forward to it.

in August, im going to Houston to see Green Day. and then go to Six Flags and all the awesome malls they have there. ill actually have money to SPEND! amazing...

Sigh, no hols for me. Well I had the choice but spending time with my brother and his girlfriend isn’t my idea of fun at all, so I’ll just stay at home all alone :pups: , or I’ll go out on the raz :Wink1:

But this summer I plan to earn money for my car and the trip next year, and get some volunteer work going at the local resource center, should be a good leaning curve.

Hope you all have a good time! It always seems to go sooooo fast, then its September again. In England its just under a month before the next equinox and then the days start getting shorter and it heads to winter and we haven’t HAD ONE SUMMER DAY YET!!! :o

my sister and my mom are going to Las Vegas for my sister's birthday. its the same day as Rich's! yall are exactly one year apart :YES:

my birthday is june 3! yay june! well just in april i went to seattle which was cool! i love that city! and then over the summer i going to oklahoma twice for church camp. i wouldnt say its vacation, but its fun!

which camp do you go to? i went to Dry Gulch one year.

i just remembered that there was a counselor there who looked like Pippin! all of the guy counselors were really hot! lol. and the food there was really good. i love away camps....

oo he MUST have been cute! i am actually one of the jr counselors at the kids camp, and the other counselors for the camp for kids my age are from the church...and not so cute. :(

In the September Hollies I am:

Flying down to Sydney and meeting up with my Great Uncle Bill (--) and then travelling around New South Wales and going to alot of different towns and seeing/experiencing really fun things (don't ask me what!!!)... Then we are driving up to the Gold Coast in Queensland and going to the Theme Parks: Dream World, Movie World and Sea World!! and every second day we are shopping!!! YAY!!!

I usually dont go on vacation. Maybe I'll go to the beach this summer. I've never been to the beach. :red:

What I always think is so brilliant about doing things at a later age is that you can remember it better. I can't remember my first time at the beach because I was too young. The sand between your toes (actually, the sand everywhere) building sand castles and "sinking" (if you know what I mean :Wink1: ) It's all great.
And I also think you're never to old to build a sand castle (but maybe that's just me :unsure: ).

No time for "vacation" with work and summer school, but the summer will still be fun since I'm going to go to the LOST convention in a week, Comic-Con in July, and I'm going to see Wicked (the musical...and I have second row seats! woohoo!). Plus, I plan on going to the ABC Primetime Preview thing in September. Not technically a vacation, but still good fun. :nany:

I made more plans for summer last night, me and Saz are gonna go to her auntie's in Norwich sometime during the hols to hijack her flat *cackles* We'll be going there after staying in Liverpool for a while, so once we get bored of shops in Liverpool we'll go to Norwich ones instead!

Yay, I'll definitely go to dublin/ireland again! :) :nany: I'm leaving on July 18th and stay there for a week. Unfortunately we'll miss oasis, they're in dublin on the 16th...:( damn... but anway, I'm REALLY looking forward to it.

I'm not going away this year, just like last year and the year before... Haven't met the persons who I want to go away with yet, and don't want to go on hiking or biking holidays with parents.
Well, technically I'm on vacation now: I'm at my parents, the weather is great and I'm really relaxing a bit. I hope I can start on an internship this summer, so it'll be learning and working this summer. And earning money so I can go on outings in the weekend.

In November, I'm going to London for a couple of days. At least, that's the plan. I think we should get started on the planning of things!

there are some changes to my Houston vacation. were going to the Green Day concert on a Friday night, then on Saturday were going to the LOTR exhibit at a museum, then that night were going to an Astros game! i havent been to a baseball game in soooo long. it should be fun.
