Board News week 14, 22nd to the 28th of May Banners: The New Banners are in place and the 8th placed banner will change every week, thus everyone who entered into the comp will grab a slice of the glory, but not as much as the top 7 banners which will go unchanged every week.

Buttons: The board buttons have changed a little when you put the mouse over them they ought to change a little. Problems with it please let us know. The buttons are just the normal Add reply things.

But when you put your mouse over them to click they should change to this:


Anyone not seeing that, please post about it here. First off give it a few secs to load up, espicially if your on Dial Up. All suggestions that have been hinted to either myself or a mod since the board has been active. Please if you have some feel free to either PM myself or a mod or simply post about it here. User Groups: I did think at the start it was fun to keep it hidden but by now most of you will be aware of that fact that people change colors as there post count increases…so for the current level of posts here is a listGuest : Not much, cant see all of the board and get a face full of annoying ads. >W<
Validating: Temporary limbo before accounts can be checked out, able to send 5 PMs and again not all of the board can be seen.
0 – 5: You’re just a limited member with basic privileges
6 – 99 posts: you’re still a member with basic privileges, although you do get to alter your member title.
100- 299: You change to blue. Access to the special members area is given, more PM space, ability to remove the “Edit” text, and granted the rank of bronze
300- 499: You change to shiny silver, again more PM space, longer posts editing times, and granted the rank of silver. Also less flood control time.
500 - ????: A darker shade of yellow or as some like to call gold, coats your user name for all to see, less flood control, greater PM space, and access to the board when its offline and great respect from your shiny new gold rank.
???? - ???? : The ability to upload files into your posts, greater PM space, able to change your titles of topics, view and contribute to the offline board.
???? - ????: The final rank, all of the above with the ability to chose your own user color, plus several other things, but to write about that would be telling. :devil2:
Vacancies: Below is a list of needed personal, for either D and F or external projects. If your interested PM me. Please bare in mind that some of the applications will have to strip off and sing a merry dance. Nah only joshing, but some of the jobs are only going to be pulled off by personal experience, so if you don’t have a clue and the job requires something you don’t have please don’t volunteer, similarly please only submit applications if you will be able to do the job.
*Writer (s) wanted. In particular regarding LOST, experience would be a desired trait, but co written pieces are acceptable. Estimated work load (including research) 3-4 hours a week. *Temporay Dominic and Friends Co – ordinator. It would seem that Mandy is too busy with here new practice to adequately fulfill her role as Banner Collector and world events poster. So I’m looking for a temp, which could evolve into a permanent position at a later date, if wanted. Jobs included:
- Receiving Banners from D and F members over a set period, then hosting them into a account, hence someone with photobucket etc will be needed.
- Setting up the banner poll when collection reaches high enough members.
- Checking and adding events to the D and F calendar.
No experience is needed, just someone who is eager and positive.
Estimated workload a week 1 - 2 hours * Graphic worker (s) – willing to design banners and buttons for external projects.
- good collection of pictures and experience is required.
