Have you seen this movie? it is one of my all-time favorite movie. and plus, it has sean bean (boromir) in it! and im a big american history buff, so this movie is really great!

I love it! It's a lot like the DaVinci Code (at least in my opinion). And Sean Bean's great in it! :clap:

I’ve never read the Da Vinci code…I have heard a fair bit about it, hee hee, I assume it claims to be fictitious but also to some has elements of truth, in particular perhaps nasty things about certain religions. /Prod/

I suppose it could be seen as perhaps making you think more about your faith, questioning it rather than just following it, personally think that’s a good thing, if you still have your belief after it all then you are a stronger person :thinky: , at the same time I can see why to the disbeliever that it might be practically important...

I guess that the film isn’t much about the book tho is it? :hee: Is it new, old? :thinky: Whats it manly about?

The Da Vinci code is a good book. I liked it A LOT. And you know what: they're making a movie of it right now. So yay happy!!

national treasure is relativly new because it just come out on video to rent and buy. its about a family's conspericy theory that the founding fathers of america had a treasure too great for one man, even a king, so they hid it from the british, only giving them clues to find it. everyone else thinks the Gates (the family's name) are crazy. Nicholas Cage (benjamin gates) may figure out the clues and they may or may not find the treaure. it has a lot of american history in it (which is really cool because i just studied that in school) and its very, would you call it, logical? like its clever how they think to do things. sean bean is the bad guy for most of the movie, and its pretty funny. most of the comic relief is on riley pool, and hes really cute too. (Rolly) i give this movie 3 thumbs up.

i was so surprised whe ni saw the movie... i thought it was gonna be crap x78.... but it was good

the Da Vinci Code is really good too... i liked it... you all should read it!

The story lines for National Treasure and the DaVinci Code are completely different, but they're the same in that they "uncover" clues (like in a dollar bill, in DaVinci's paintings, etc.) that lead to a supposedly mythical object.

I just watched it. Riley is the best. Hes way hott.
Its an alright movie, I enjoyed. I thought it would be crappy. and maddy, SEEEEEN BEAAAAAAN.

i love National Treasure! my mom loves it because we saw it right after she went to Philadelphia, so she was pointing to all the stuff. and i just kept nodding and smiling :YES:


ooooh! The DaVinci Code movie will be soooo good! i watched the whole story about it on a news channel. they were talking about it like it was a nonfiction book! its historical fiction! maybe some of the stuff mentioned in it will make you think, but people need to keep in mind that its a book....

Yeah the da vinci code will be good. The woman who plays the lead is the actress from Amelie. I LOVE HER.

me too. i always love the characters who bring the comical relief to the movie or show. and its usually not the main character.

i personally dont believe in the book, but whatev.
