I've not seen it since Pokemon, or yo yo's, but Skoobies are just going psycho over here in England, I went to town today and people were just going mad over them...So I brought some to work out the fuss, and they are just bits of plastic string type stuff. What do you do with them? Just WHAT ARE THEY???? :craze1:

Here in the Netherlands it was a big hype aswell, everyone was doing it!
You have to tie them together, I can't really explain in english..... It's very bad for young childeren when they chew on them......

It's great to do when there really is nothing else you can do, like on a long planetrip or something like that.

You know what's so stupid. All kinds of people like it. My 25 year old brother likes it. A couple of months ago I was at my parents house and my and my bro were braiding those scooby things like a bunch of 6 year olds. It was SO good old days. #haha#

just to make sure: you start out with 2 of the strings, and cross them to make 4. and you continue to pull 2 one way, then weave the other 2 the other way and pull. is that what were all talking about?

#haha# we have them in my shop and on Saturday thats all we sold, they come in this pink packaging and you think they are only aimed at girls, but boys were buying them by the dozen it was crazy!


They are this plastic material that is flexable, but tough, you kinda "plait" them into braclets and there is a website HERE

:red: I got into them this morning and made a load :o it was very disturbing to see a pile of strings all weaved up. Like that :hee: they are addictive, I just don’t like the smell. The werid thing is there isnt much you can do with them, I mean you make the wrist band type thing and thats it....I dont get how that would be a craze #haha#

oooooooh! i went through the step by step manual. lol. the stuff we have here is the EXACT same string, but you dont make a bracelet, its just a key chain type thing. and some people call it boondoggle.Boondoggle
