OMG!!! I had an awesome time!

My sister and I didn't get there until about 5pm, so we figured we would be sitting in the back. It turned out there were only 7 people in front of us, which made me really excited! So we waited in line (it seemed like forever!) until they were ready to let us in the theater. We still waited in line once we got inside, but we started planning out what seats we wanted to aim for. When they were finally ready to seat us, a woman standing by the door took our tickets. There was a man working there who took the seven people in front of us, but instead of putting them in the front (like we all expected), they got seated in the area behind the camera. I started feeling disappointed and when the guy came back to take us, we started walking over to the area the other people were at. But he motioned for us to go to the end of the second row (which ended up being center stage). I was stoked! I was sitting at the very end, and the first row ended in front of my sister's seat, so I didn't have anybody sitting in front of me...And better still, the chair where the guests sit was straight in front of me. I most definitely got the best view of Dom! I was wearing pink (for those of you who taped it--you can see me during the Ninja guy's segment ;) ) and I brought my Charlie doll. I was waving my doll around when Dom came out, but he didn't see :( (and when it got quiet, I froze and I didn't yell anything out :NO: )...but it was a good show (they should've shown more of Dom, though, when Willy Ninja was on...the entire time, he was trying to keep from laughing...it was hilarious). During the commercial breaks, Dom pretended to be playing a guitar or keyboard as the band played.

After the show, my sister and I went around to the back of the building and there was already a line of people who wanted to see Dom. So we waited patiently for a looooooooong time. Eventually, Billy and Dom both came out! Billy didn't stay very long and everyone seemed to be crowding around Dom. Dom was nice enough to take pictures with people and sign autographs, and even left a message on someone's phone. I was toward the end of the line, so I was waiting for him to come down. Unfortunately, he started going back the other way! I was hoping to give him my doll. There was a fellow Ringer there and she was trying to help me (she yelled "Dom! She has a doll for you!" as she pushed me forward). He didn't hear and left (he was going to go drinking with Billy). I was sad for a little bit, but I'm over it now. I hope to see him at the Primetime Preview Weekend in September and I was very lucky to get a good seat at the show...life is good. :Heart:

thats soooo awesome! I wanted Billy to come out from backstage!! sorry that you didn't get to give him yur doll :( but that must've been a REALLY awesome timee! SO LUCKY! lol.

Am I imagining things or has Dom lost a little weight? he seemed REALLY slim on those clips. And he is getting sexier!!! I didn't think it was possible, but I was wrong. I loved the bit on Ellen when he was talking about his pets. I nearly wet myself laughing at both those clips.

OMG I so want to see Dom in real life. If he's ever anywhere in Europe on a show or whatever I'm so going over there.

I dont think thats a weird thing to say at all, in fact I agree with you 100%, maybe he is too good a actor, but your right when he was in the LOTRs pics he was always having fun, messing about all looking happy. The last year or so the Dom pics I've seen are moody and at times he looks dam right depressed, I've seen more Dom depressed pics this year than all the ones from before.

Its not a bad, bad thing as it shows that he has different sides, but so many people take comfort from Dom being happy with his life that it makes me feel a little for the fans, including me #haha# maybe next year things will be different, he has stronger bonds with the LOST cast now, and as the years go on I bet he will get closer to them as well. Who knows <lol>

I thought it was a cool interview, maybe both Dom and Ellen had that dry hummor going on and that might have made it look a bit "rough" with all the banter, both were cracking jokes throughout :hee: it didnt make it a bad interview just "different" perhaps its just the style of the host, the US has so many talk shows and only one or two spring to mind for the UK :( I dont know to be honest..

I agree with you guys, i think he juss grew closer with the lotr cast, and still needs time to adjust with the lost cast, so who knows, he might have a really strong friendship with them also. Im glad he made the interview, lol.

I watched most of it without sound. It's just that I really wanted to hear his voice. Unfortunately enough every time I turned up the sound they were just talking about what happened in lost. DARN. Well it's my own fault. All I had to do was control myself. Yep, that was doomed form the beginning. The words control and Dominic do not go together. (Rolly)
