This Thread has the basics please read this before you cast your vote


The 4 Season Look (WHAT ARE YOU VOTING ON?)

•4 seasons in a year = 4 change arounds

•Each season lasts 3 months

•The season look will be based on the current season i.e. if we get enough votes to go ahead the next skin (or look) will be spring themed, greens etc.

•The look is a change in skin such as the blues and the current background, no changes to topics will occur

•You will vote on what you would like, this will not be a majority vote, if more than 33% of members say no then the 4 season look will not go ahead.

•Your vote is important please don’t not use it or waste it.





The Themed months and the 4 season look are quite different, below is a brief outline of the themed months WHICH IS GOING AHEAD after the last poll in Board news.


Themed months

12 themes in a year

The themes don’t add an overall change to the boards look except for adding one more forum.

You suggest ideas for the next month during the current month i.e. you should be suggesting ideas for MAY

You vote for the next month’s theme in the last 7 days of the current month.

The wining suggestion becomes the new theme and the member who suggested it has control over that topic, s/he will be expected to start topics on the first day of the new month(assuming you said you wanted to help), as well as mod powers. (this is subject to the grand mods agreement)

If you only want to suggest ideas GREAT, if you want to help out, i.e. research your own suggestions then say so when you suggest.


As listed in here, there is a brief recap of the suggestions.

They should not be specific to any one country unless it’s celebrated by others OR it’s a big event that you think other members from different countries might want to learn about , I.e. I’d recommend Comic relief, as it’s a great cause and I think it would be good for others to learn about what us crazy Brits get up to during March.

You post your suggestions here and if you’d be willing to help out or like to add a little, banners etc, in short your be selling your theme to others and at the end of this month a poll will be set up in events in which everyone decides what we get.

So ideas please. (You may suggest more than one)


Suggestion

A summer is coming theme. Lost of talk about the summer lazy hot days and a time of the year that’s fun! If you want that vote for this idea at the end of the month (Although its only a example, its also a valid suggestion that will be in the poll.)

You should be suggesting ideas for next months theme in this thread (Rolly)

This thread is now closed, thank you all very much for your votes. Instead of the 4 season idea we now have different skins. Each month there will be a bonus skin added to go with the current theme. (Rolly)
