Anyone else seen it? I watched it on Sunday with some friends. I thought it was weird, but good. My friends said that Elijah looked like a scary Harry Potter. (Hmmmm) #haha# He kinda did.

What is it? I've never heard of it before (&*"£> is it a film or Tv show? Whats it about????? I take it Elijah is in it ><() Thats all I know.

I saw Sin City on Friday. I've been looking forward to it since March of 2004, when I first heard about it.

I was expecting it to be amazing, but I was blown away. Completely original and revolutionary film-making.

To be honest the trailers suck and the blurb isnt much good, its not that it doesnt look good, I just have no clue about the plot!! :NO: I will do a little more digging and you two think its good so might be worth a shot. (Hmmmm)

I've just seen the trailers for the first time, and I'm impressed, I now have 3 more reasons to see it, besides Elijah, coz I'm a big fan of Michael Clarke Duncan, and Bruce Willis, and I quite like Rutger Hauer as well (I'm talking acting ability here, NOT drool-worthy-ness)

I loved the way they filmed the movie. The way they used splashes of colour.
But even as a woman, I think there was way too much damage done to the male
"parts". I sat with my legs crossed in simpathy. Ouch! :pups:

Over here its started to get a huge "everywhere in pictures from June 2nd" and it does look cool, think I'll have to go take a look myself.

Just got back from this movie….it was different, but it was really something, Elijah would make a great addition to X men, the ripping/slicing/cutting of men’s private parts was a bit too much at times, but what the heck people in the cinema were laughing about it. :hee:

It was awesome, I like the Old Town story the best where the girls kill the cop, but all were OK to be fair, didn’t like the Josh Hartnett parts lucky he had very few, and thought the girls could be a bit more “Buffy” but will defo watch it again.


As for Elijah pictures, I really dont think you want any... he was very...um disturbing.

yes, he was disturbing...but there was also something appealing about the creepiness... :hee:

I'm gonna see it. Probably somewhere next week. Mainly because of Elijah, but I also like Jessica Alba. And the name Alexis Bledel rings a bell.

I really don't care how bad it is. I'm going. Just look at the cute actors.

It’s not bad it really isn’t. When it first starts things don’t look quite right, it’s like your watching a highly animated cartoon, and then the gangster talking starts and Josh Hartnett ruins the first few minutes :( and that was the only time I thought I’d made a mistake going. After that its cleverly done, the cast is HUGE and not everyone gets huge amount of air time, and some of it doesn’t really make sense. I.e. in some of the stories the characters die but the next one has them alive again and it’s a bit bizarre. :thinky:

Elijah or “Kevin” is really something :hee: , honest I think he should have had a main character perspective, people in the audience at the end of Elijah’s main story area were gasping and talking about what they were seeing so yeah he must have been doing something right. :Wink1:

Basically its all a bit mad, reality is distorted but not at the same time, lol this will sound crazy but if gun men had burst into the room I don’t think I would have been all that shocked, so yeah gripping stuff. The only major downfall was the girls relying on the men too much, kinda old fashioned. :rolleyes:

I SO want to see Sin City. Its coming out here on July 14th. Im def going to watch it. I saw a preview on the Movie Show here.AND Benicio Del Toro...AND ELIJAH WOOD!! I cant wait!

Sin city was so freakin' awsome. I am SO buying the movie as sson as it comes out. I love how they followed the comic books colors so good and didn't make it all colored. I am like this huge comic book movie fan, like I also really liked Batman but Spiderman 2 was better, but whatev....
Anywho, totally awsome. Reccomand it to anyone.

You pay for the film you want, then head into this long hallway with 12 different screens, you go to the one you pay for. Then after its finished instead of heading out just hop into the next screen, and watch another film free. (woW> we only do it every so often because sitting through 6 hours of film is just to much.



Anyway not 18 yet, so we had to do the trick to watch Sin city, it was great. Not what I'm used to, but enjoyed it loads. The DVD will be on my christmas list, getting it is another story :hee:
