This programme is UK based, devised by producers who have American themes running through every part of their bodies, I have no idea if its shown in America or not, if not then why the hell not! (*&_

I’m not joking when I say this show is so OTT it defies belief and turns into the ultimate comedy! In a nut shell the show is a micky take of the England football team, it took me a few seasons to get to grips with that, we have a David Beckhem, (Conrad) Rooney, (Darius) etc, sorry I don’t follow football at all! (&*"£> But I’m sure some UK members can help me out and others will get the idea.

Of course the primary focus of the show is on the wives, the storylines are just totally mad. And describing them to you will just sound like lies or never grasp the impact this show has. <craze>

Without a doubt my fave character is Tanya Turner, when she goes psychotic her eyes get wide and that classic movement with her fags and fake nails. I’m sorry, I’m just laughing to myself about this show <DiE< and I can’t think of anything else to say with out exploding. Please someone who watches it help me out! List some storylines. Anything! (bEg)

Oh the last episode last year one of the footballer was taken away under the mental health act ><() , and just last week (this is very sad!) a baby was seen to be covered in fake tan }C/{ so he looked Asian then suffocated by a vile looking dog. Without causing offence, people laugh at that! Because the show is just totally whacked out, it combines serious issues with entirely implausible characters, unrealistic storylines, over the top acting, a creative use of “more money than sense” theme and lots of sexual content that just drives this show to insane land. <craze>


Its one of the highest watched UK shows by the way. :YES:

I love this show too. I've watched it right from series one and it has managed to get more ridiculous and OTT each series imo! It actually didn't get very high ratings in it's first series and it wasn't sure whether it would be recommissioned for a second series. I bet the powers that be were pleased that they did, as as you say Knuxs it is a ratings smash now! #haha#

It is total rubbish really, but that's what makes it so watchable! (Rolly)

Tanya Turner is great too and I love Hazel (H) too. She is fab and if you upset her, you've had it! #haha#

The amusing thing about it is they never actually show any football and a lot of the action seems to have to take place in the showers when all the players are naked! }C/{ I think they must have a clause in the contract that says they have to show at least 2 naked male bums per episode! }C/{ #haha#

I love FW - it's so bad it's great and it's obviously tongue-in cheek #haha#

Knuxs - I know what you mean about Tanya's eyes - I was PMSL when she stared Frank to death in the last series <lol>

I would say that the Rooney equivalent is Harley rather than Darius (well, apart from the fact that Harley is gorgeous and Rooney...um...isn't #haha#) Shannon is definitely Coleen McCloughlin! }C/{

And, yes, the male nudity content is very high - which is as good a reason as any to watch #haha#
