Board News Week 6, 26th of March to the 1st of April.


April fools: This weeks board news will end on April the 1st, everything in it will be the truth. Just a warning that some countries like to take a very active role in the day so watch what you read. (Winker)


Banners: Several new banners were submitted last week and the winner is ROSIE (woW> her banner will be up for all to see shortly. The event coordinator Mandy (e_malamutes) will be collecting the next lot when there is enough she will set up another voting thread. So get some in! Please send them to her. (Rolly)


Hotlinking:This is the last time I will say it before I get unpleasant. There is to be no hotlinking on this board, unless you’re given consent by the owner of the bandwidth.

Here are the RULES again. This is the last general warning before I start hounding members. If anyone spots hotlinking please tell a Mod or myself as soon as possible.


Images: A few topics are becoming harder to load, this isn’t just happening on dial up. The problem is the huge volume of images that have to be downloaded before the page can be correctly seen, as a result, to keep your sigys and individual expression throughout the board community intact, some threads will have the images changed to external links. Most of the forums won’t be affected, and the Dom ones are fine (phew ) if you notice your picture has been changed to a link, please don’t change it back into a user posted image.

LOST: The final episode spoilers are now being released }C/{ . Now this is where you had better listen up good, if I read a spoiler about lost anywhere on the board other than the lost spoiler thread your going to feel my wrath! I’m not joking around, this is one thing I wont budge on, there are people including myself who haven’t seen it or don’t want to know what happens. Please don’t be selfish and reveal what happens. You have all been warned.
Dont forget to add LOST dates to the board calendar your board mates are counting on you. The US dates are all I can add as I cant find a good enough site for the other countries showing it. If I spoke the language...... :(


New URL: Most of you would have seen or received a Email last week telling you of our new URL, www.dandf.org at the current time we have that address for the next year, I would like to buy if for longer so it could become our permanent address. Bare in mind if I cant renew it next year then will be back to the old Invision one, everyone will get plenty of notice, so its important that your email address that’s currently listed is one that you check at least semi often. The old URL will continue to work.

Posting Games Scores:After you've gone into a game, if you click ARCADE to get back out your arrive at a totally secret area of the board, this is the place to post your scores. See if anyone can beat you etc.

DONT post in the empty sections.

There is a Topic HERE about Hotlinking, its well explained (thank1) Jess.

Next time there is hotlinking you're getting a warning and sent to Jess's boot camp for harsh labour work where your curse the day you ever head the word “hotlinked”. I don’t think it’s intentional but it’s not something we can be flexible on. Please try to be clear what it means, any questions or your not sure about something ask in that topic.

At this point the words hotlinking is seriously starting to freak me out. I can't help it, it's in my nature to almost always think I'm doing something wrong. I think somebody f***ed up my mind when I was little. I'll never quite get over it. #haha#

But anyway: I never post a pic that's not from my own photobucket. So that's good, isn't it?????????
I know it is, but somebody pleas verify it for me. Just for the heck of it. And so I can stop being all paranoid about it. ;)
