I think their music is absolutely brilliant. I wanted to seriously bitchslap a friend when she said she didn't like Coldplay. She finds the music depressing.

They is Ok, bit depressing most of the time :( but good singer voice, i like Chris Martin style and the lyrics can be understood, some of the trash about is worse that a nightmare

I heard it and even though it's more of the same it's a good song. I just like the Coldplay sound.

Oww, wanna hear a funny thing. I bought a CD of a band called Blue Merle and the lead singers sounds exactly like Coldplay's lead singer.
Some of the songs are an awful lot like the Coldplay ones, but they did try to create their own sound. It has some very nice bits with violins and all. I really like it. I've listened to it several times allready.

I bought X&Y. If I have to be honest I'm a tad bit disappointed. The other cd's knocked me off my feet the second I heard them. This one didn't Speed of sound is probably the best song on there. I'm gonna listen to it some more and make up my mind about it. But for now all I can say is: I think they can do better. Oh my gosh, I feel awful now, but it's the truth and I cannot tell a lie.

Rolling Stone only gave it 3 stars...

I'm watching a live dvd right now. I love it. Chris Martin is a great singer. He sounds good live. Not many people can do that.

i became a member too, just because you get emails when new tour dates get posted. i joined the site for all of my favorite bands for that reason. lol
