Hello everyone --

For those who do not know me (or who know me and just want a reminder :P) I'm Mandy, 22, married, living in California, USA. Originally from Egypt, studied at UCLA and Michigan State, am now a veterinarian. Married to Karl, 24, from Cambridge, England.

I am now the official Dominic and Friends events coordinator. My first task, today, is to bring everyone who actively participates on this wonderful forum to vote for which official banner they would like, for a period of time Knuxs and I have yet to decide, to see at the top of their Dominic and Friends page.

Now, on March 16th, the seven banners you see above have been submitted for the first ever "official" banner. All other banners shown on Dominic and Friends already, however, will not be lost. After each vote, the banners will be held in an archive (my photobucket account), so as to be used and entered again possibly in future votings.

Rules go as follows: only one vote per person. I am not going to make it no replies allowed just because I want to see comments but absolutely no revealing what you voted for. Now I know we are all wonderful people here on this board BUT we also have friends. Please do not tell your friends which banner you voted for. Also, for people who submitted their banners, for now, I am keeping it anonymous. If you see your banner please do not tell anyone which one you have. This is only to keep it as fair as possible.

Poll will end March 25th. I encourage everyone to vote. Spread the word around. For this voting, all banner entries are closed but you may submit your banners still to be entered in the future. To submit an entry, please PM me with your banner and this form:

For people who already entered, the ones whose appear here in the poll already, please PM me with this form ASAP and tell me which banner is yours. I will announce the winning banner and creator March 25th. If you do not send me a PM I will have no idea who submitted it and will be left anonymous, which I'd hate to do after all the effort. Future polls will be here in this topic. I will let everyone know the official time period for a banner so as you'll know when to expect another voting.

Ah, the names are the links! Thanks Heidi for clearing that up. OK, am going to study the candidates carefully to make my choice and cast my vote.

We should be able to vote for more than one I think, they are all so good >HO< so which of the current banners are being replaced?

No, that's exactly what I meant, Heidi. The only thing I can see are the circles for the poll and that's it. :(

The names (Banner One, Banner Two, etc.) are the links to the banners. You can only vote for one, sorry everyone. One of the banners on Dominic and Friends currently will be replaced, there will be just one new banner.

I can only see the links when I'm at work. When I came home yesterday and wanted to vote I could only see the dots.

Has it something to do with the kind of browser or explorer you use? I don't know, I'm not an expert.

}C/{ You cant even see the posted images now? }C/{ Its just like a normal image in any of the image threads, the picy below is just one that I would post up in my normal way. If you cant see it then either this board is messed up or your computer is going mad.




Do you all have internet explorer? Sometimes things like Firefox cause problems. I dont know any more sorry.

Pat, are you using a firewall on your comp?

Like you, I couldn't even see the links Mandy posted in her latest post. Then I had the idea to turn off the pop-up blocking feature of my firewall and now I can see the banners and vote. Maybe that's your problem as well, little bro?

I don't know what else to do for you guys that can't see them, I guess if all else fails go the link below and look at the banners from my photobucket
