A thought has occured to me, early on in the season Jack and Kate were talking about what happened as the plane crashed, and Kate says that the tail broke off first, then the cockpit, and the body of the plane cartwheeled through the jungle before coming to rest on the beach. if that's the case, then when they found the cockpit, it stands to reason, that the tail section would be further in on the island. Are there more survivors elswhere, near the tail perhaps? Rose believes her husband is still alive, could he be with the tail?

ok here comes my extremely weird theory..dont laugh!

ok I believe that someone on the Island, the "others" all gathered those ppl on the island for a certain reason, as you see a random cast mate in each persons flashback. I think the "others" are trying to breed a new speicies of human, because they only wanted Claire --they wanted to study how the humans reproduce ..well thats all I got so far, I know its stupid, but I'm so firm in it lol

I'm sure that LOST stands for Locke Only Sees Through.... :)

There are so many things that make my brain steam!!

One theory of mine is that the ship Danielle was on had animals on it.
Maybe the scientists or whatever they were created a sort of virus and injected them to the polar bears as an experiment. The virus could have brought evil out of everyone who got in touch with it. That's why Danielle had to kill all of the others because maybe they were bitten by the bears and were infected with the virus. Maybe Ethan managed to escape from her.
And the virus could have turned the island into that evil and mysterious place, too.

just a theory for everyone who's seen up to episode 19.

when boone finds the radio in the little orange/yellow plane and he says "Hello, can you hear me? We're survivors of Oceanic Flight 815, please copy." and then theres static, yelling and all that. and the other voice (who sounds a LOT like boone by the way) says "No, we're the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815."

this is freaking me out a lot. what i'm thinking is. (also for the people who have seen the season two promo)

in the promo it says "the survived on luck, they survived on skill, but on the other side of the island...the will realise that they are not the survivers they thought they were"

i'm thinking that maybe there is another plane? with the same people? because the voice sounded a heck of a lot like boone if you go back and listen to it. and it fits in with the "they're not the survivers they thought they were" thing. and i guess the other person would have to be within a close range because ( i don't know anything about radios) but wouldn't there be a certain distance that a simple plane radio could pick up signals from?

or building on someone elses idea, maybe the tail section did crash on the otherside of the island, but then that raises the question why is there a transmitter/radio in the tail section of the plane?

does any of this seem realistic to any of you? i know i could be totally wrong but it fits in with a few things. (also maybe where the tunnel/hatch leads to? the other side of the island?)
