The banners are set for random change on each page refresh. If you would like to submit one please send it my way. If numbers reach high levels then a poll will be opened and you may choose your favorites.

Smut should be tame in the main board, if it gets too much posts will have to be deleted, this includes the “???????” area. Please keep it in the slash section.

LOST Dates

I have added some dates for Lost being shown around the world, naturally I cant do it for every country because I dont talk the langauge so dont have a clue what's being said. (***) If your country is showing LOST, and you want to let everyone know then please add the date to the calendar(Top right hand corner and then click "add event") . For those reading it this is what the coding means.

Ep = Episode

11/24 = the 11th episode out of 24

All The Best Cowboys.... = ><() The Title

( R ) = Re run or repeat.

USA = The country this event applies to.

Please try to follow this format if you add events (Rolly)

I just added some episodes of Lost for Dutch viewers. I don't have the episode summaries, so there's no real description of the event. Only the time and channel.

Please >HO< , thank you for putting them up (This could get silly <lol> ) if you get any more ~Wink~ Same for anyone else just get the dates up there. Even if its not to do with Lost, i.e we even have the Harry Potter release date up too. (you dont need to put your birthdays in, do that through your control section (BouN) )

Changes

A few facial changes to the board, unless I have a negative response they will be staying put. <lol> I have one more change to make later, its a bit hit or miss, so I really need to know if you like it, or if its making you eyes go screwy <craze>. Its your board so please comment. (BouN)

Sorry <lol> The background is fairly pointed. Feedback on it good or bad....on the plus every one is free to design other backgrounds much like the banners.

Yes, feedback. All right, let's give some constructive feedback.
I'm not so sure about the background. For most of the time you can see only an eye or a nose. As I write this, his left eye is staring at me. I mean, it's a nice eye and all. But I'd rather see a bit more of him.

Is there a way to do bigger banners on top of the screen?? I really like those.

I also like that moving news thingy.

Moving old topics to the trash zone is a good idea. Helps me keep my overview.

As I probably mentioned before, I like the overall set-up of this board.

Firstly the background is only a tester <lol> to show what we can do, if you or anyone else has a picture then we can use that, I’ve tried to mix several Dom pics to make a collage type thing but only have limited range of picture alteration skills. I have no problems with using member photos when it’s your birthdays, or Harry Potter/Christmas backgrounds as themes when it’s the right time of year (A good PM suggestion I thought)

Bigger banners are OK to do also. I will look into it a bit later, bare in mind that I can only increase the size so much before they all go pixel party fun.

The news thingy is simple but effective, when the adverts are active its easy to miss it, but I don’t want to move it lower down the board in the top area (if that makes any sense <craze> ), but if you think it would be better at the bottom by the member sats….you know what to do. ~Wink~

Without your feedback I have no idea if you like what you are seeing or not, I would even add an anonymous poll if I thought it would get the votes! If you don’t tell me I have to assume you don’t mind. So thank you Miranda, Glitter, and Stacy. (--)

I’m glad you like the set up, just feel that the board has potential to change and be modeled to serve us so why waste that opportunity. Plus I’m sure learning to read and write JavaScript and technological formations will come in handy one day (Winker)

When you grab the scroll bar and move it slow the boards move but the pictures of Dom stay put, Just think thats mega <--> , overall the format is sound.

I personally, dont like the Dom background. I liked the simple colors, with the banner at top.

However, a collage for the background isnt such a bad idea.

*shrug* thats just me :D

I wasnt to sure at first but it tends to grow on you after a bit, the not moving bit is great >HO< I would offer to design something else but I wouldnt know where to start. (Hmmmm)

I think a background is better than just a boring color, but I can understand that simple things are sometimes the best. If we dont like maybe we could do a poll or submit other ones. To be fair I dont mind, I like the content in the posts more. ><()

Yeah, I think the not moving background is cool but I don't really like that particular background of Dom. Maybe another picture or something? Usually the colors just work the best...

First: I love pink, but should I be glad I missed the pink background?

About the background: I think a picture would be great, and if it fits the board colours, it would be the best. The thing I don't like is that the pic is repeated... Don't get me wrong: the more Dom, the better! But with this current pic, it's not entirely centered, which makes the background kinda "lean" to one side (also suggested by Dom's tilted head). I think it is a bit irritating, and I feel that I must seek my balance everytime I look at the background.
I suggest that someone designs a background, which is large enough to fill the entire background of the board, so we don't get the repeated effect which can make you seasick ~Wink~ or that we should stick with a single background colour...

Well, maybe I'm the only one who gets the off-balance feeling while staring at this background... Personally I'm more into centered or mirrored framing. Excuse me if I start talking in cinematic terms, that's a symptom of my studies... <craze>

It would have been naïve of me if I assumed everyone would like ONE particular picy of Dom over all else ><() , I’m open to suggestions but I don’t think we will find one, that’s why a collage might be a better choice? Perhaps a topic for your fave pic and maybe some would be able to combine them, I’m not to sure.

We could go for a neutral background like some of the avatars I’ve spotted about, that way there is no real focus on Dom. I’ll have a look around and see, if you have any suggestions at all voice them and be dam specific! We need fine details if we are going to get anywhere.

I do like the idea of themed days, that might annoy some people but some days like AIDS or Cancer awareness only come round once a year and it would be nice to try and do something for people less fortunate, but I would like to have a main background for the rest of the year, neutral or otherwise.

The pink one, I hate pink but it went well with the board }C/{ (There is no way! <lol> ) I'll put a few up in the next hour as I check how things work like the tiling and centering. The biggest problem with that is we might only see Dom’s head as the rest would be covered by the board, but I do see you point Jo. (Rolly)

Yes, I thought about that too... that's why my preference tends to go to the simple background colour...

The current image will be sticking around for a while as I'm off to bed now. I honestly dont know what to have. I would like something Dom wise but if we cant all agree..... (Hmmmm) any ideas would be most welcome.

I love this background image, it looks vaguely familiar. The way it is at the moment, I don't think it needs any more changes. The colour scheme is perfect for the background, and the whole board has quite a mellow, welcoming feel. I like it.

I like how it is at the moment too. All the colours tone nicely with each other and I like how only the board moves when you scroll down and not the background! Very clever! (Rolly)
