Wow that was frightening, it was 1am and there was a rumbling sound and my bed was shaking and the bedroom furniture was moving back and forth, i thought i was going mad.
Mum and dad came out of their bedroom to find out what had happened. I switched the TV on and they were talking about an earthquake in the uk.
It was 5.2 on the Richter scale, it was the worst one in the Uk to hit us for 25 years. :unsure:
Us English folk don't experience these things normally, so i was terrified! :(

Looking back it makes me - :lol: - but at the time I can understand how frightening it must have been! I woke up and thought the neighbors were just having a loud party :wub:

Did it go on for a long time? Wonder if they will happen more often with climate change (not sure if the two are even related???)
