You guys are going to have a great time with it!
<Hissy< <Hissy< <Hissy< why do we have to wait another 5 months! <lol>
Seriously its amazing news, they could easily have said “no show”, and then you’d have to wait until the DVD came out >{>

Tigerlily - March 1, 2005 05:33 PM (GMT)
You know what that means: you guys are not gonna be that far behind. So we can have a nice German-Dutch Lost discussion.
I wonder what Dom sounds like in German. Maybe they can ask the same guy who did the LOTR movies so it sounds familiar. #haha#
No really: I still think that whole voice over thing is crap. Who still wants that anyway???

Charlie (singing): "Du all, allesamt"

<DiE<
In German it would be: "Du alle, jeder"... <craze>
Dammit, I so hate it that they don't show the English version.
But at least we get to see LOST at all... (bEg)

Exactly the reason I shouldn't talk German in public...

#haha# #haha# It's funny how easily we can confuse each other by using foreign languages. EEEE, sorry, now I'm thinking about a sketch in which a woman talked about her breeding ?? horses. (for Jo: I fok horses <Chair> )
Well about the du alle jeder thing. I'm lost all together. Unless it means all together now. But then I still don't know what that's about.
(***) I feel stupid.
My German sucks. Last week I had to explain to a German guy that he was allowed to sit anywhere he wanted for breakfast. All I could come up with was: nicht. Meaning: no, you don't necessarily have to sit at the same table every day.
I do love singing 99 luftbalons. It's my fave German song.

#haha# <DiE<
No, in Dutch it would be "Jullie daar, allemaal"
Miranda, "You all Everybody" is the song Charlie sings every now and then. It was the big hit he scored with his band. You'll notice it in the first episode already, when Charlie goes on a hike with Jake and Kate (SNake>
Tigerlily - March 2, 2005 06:00 PM (GMT)
Wait, wait, wait. I saw a bit of that. Is that the hike where they discover this dead guy in a tree??????????????????
Hestia - March 2, 2005 06:14 PM (GMT)
Yeah, way before they discover the dead guy they walk through a field, and Kate thinks she has seen Charlie before. Then he starts to sing his song, to make her remember who he is.
Tigerlily - March 2, 2005 06:20 PM (GMT)
Dommie singing. Oi, I so wanna hear that. Is he any good???
Duh: stupid question. Of course he is. I would love it even if he sings as horribly as I do.
AAAAAAAAAA!! That's me singing. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! * runs for cover from shattering glas *
meriadoc0412 - March 4, 2005 12:47 PM (GMT)
Well Miranda, let's say, his singing is funny. (Rolly) He sounds quite castrated, but only as Charlie. What I heard him sing in real life was fantastic.
He's a bloody rock god! ~Wink~

Wahahahaha "he sounds quite castrated" is the quote of the year! <DiE<
But it's true... Charlie must have got a kick in the balls (by Mr Voods perhaps?) during the plane crash.
*Sarah* - April 1, 2005 06:58 PM (GMT)
I really ask myself if they are going to have a voice-over for the part when charlie is singing. would be so sad because it's such a great moment in the original version (pilot) and made me laugh for ages. *hehe* I think Germany should get the chance to hear those few seconds. ^^
meriadoc0412 - April 6, 2005 01:26 PM (GMT)
The voice over was terrible!!!!!!
*Sarah* - April 8, 2005 09:29 PM (GMT)
^It really is. I'm sure I'll never get used to it.
Tigerlily - April 25, 2005 10:18 AM (GMT)
hey German Dom Lovers!!!!
You probably found it already (or not), but Bravo magazine has an interview with Dom in it. And lots of pics.
Don't know if this has been posted anywhere else on the board, but I just wanted to let ya guys know.
I'm gonna buy it myself. (SNake>
*Sarah* - April 30, 2005 10:06 PM (GMT)
'Yam' also has an interview with dom. ;)
and there's a nice cast poster in 'tv highlights'.
earendil - May 1, 2005 06:12 AM (GMT)
This weeks YAM???
I can get that! (woW>
*Sarah* - May 1, 2005 10:07 AM (GMT)
^yep, this week. the one that has been released last wednesday. nice interview, 2 pages. I did not find any new information but whatever.
RonjaTook - May 1, 2005 10:14 AM (GMT)
I got some strange looks when I bought these teen magazines :hee: but I did it anyways. <Ton?
*Sarah* - May 1, 2005 10:18 AM (GMT)
^ohhh YES, I know what you're talking about... Okay, I'm only 18 but I couldn't make it to buy the Bravo. I was hiding in the store, reading it there and then I put it back. *lol* xD
earendil - May 1, 2005 03:15 PM (GMT)
(woW> I'm gonna buy it tomorrow then!
I also get strange looks when I'm looking trough all the teen magazines trying to find Dom or Lost things :hee:
RonjaTook - May 1, 2005 03:20 PM (GMT)
:die: Weird, isn't it? Good that we're not scared getting these looks. :Wink1:
And Sarah, I was also disappointed there were no new informations in the article. German magazines...
earendil - May 1, 2005 03:33 PM (GMT)
At least the Greman magazines have articles on Dom! Not hing in the Dutch ones  Only twice, once a little piece o Dom getting that Manchster united shirt, but that was more about Ruud van nistelrooy, who is dutch... And once an intervieuw about LOTR in a fantasy magazine like 2 years ago...... I'm so glad German magzines are available in the Netherlands! (woW>
*Sarah* - May 1, 2005 03:38 PM (GMT)
^You know, I don't like the bravo article at all. for me it seems as if they just tried to copy what the rolling stone once wrote, but in a very bad style. anyway...
earendil - May 1, 2005 04:26 PM (GMT)
Really? I don't think I know the article you're talking about.... I can't get rolling stone
But I did like the article, only there were a lot of things in there we already know. But I think it's always like that, magazines copie other magazines.....
*Sarah* - May 1, 2005 09:05 PM (GMT)
^you can read the rolling stone article over at beyondgrey. send me a pm if you cannot find the link.
earendil - May 2, 2005 03:27 PM (GMT)
I think I have that link somewhere... I'll go and see!
Thanks (--)
