Description: colour?
Faolan - May 25, 2007 05:57 PM (GMT)
How do I get the colour of my text to change? I have tried to use the
tool bar but nothing happens. What am I doing wrong? :slappy:

you have to highlight (don't know if it's called highlight, but I hope you understand what I mean) the text you want in a different color, using your mouse. After you've done that you can chose a color, or a font size.
If it doesn't work, let us know :)

It's supposed to look like this [/COLOR_]
only without the underscores at the end

What Miranda said is right (woW>
You have basically opened up two "tags", and havent closed either so the coding doesn't work.
:hee: I have the exact same problem with all invsion message boards because I use Firefox and Opera rather than Internet Explorer. Only way to "get it" is to learn a little "HTML"
<--- that code tells the board the text that follows is to be in red, everything you type will be in red until you tell it to stop
you tell it to stop by closing the tag with this ---> (naturally adding in the space at the end doesnt close the tag so it wont work, but hopefully you get the idea)
The close tag can be used for everything, from bolding text etc.
text you want to change here [/close the code here]
