Title: Big Brother: Das Dorf
Description: German TV goes crazy

I just saw on Dutch news that German TV is making a new version of Big Brother. Contestants are put in a small village, and the tv-viewers get to decide which jobs the contestants should do, if they can live in a nice house or in a poor house. The program doesn't end after a 100 days, like the first versions of Big Brother, but it will continue as long as there are contestants and viewers. I have no idea if there's some sort of prize for a winner, and what the exact objective of the show is. Fact is that I would never sign up for something like this. I like my freedom and couldn't live if I knew there were camera's on me 24/7...

Actually, the concept reminds me of The Sims! Aargh, this freaks me out even more )8(

I think after a while it just isn't interesting anymore.
On Feb 28 Big Brother 5 will be ending.
It was on TV a whole year long and three people that are still there have been there from the very beginning. But the rules were different from the "normal" BB concept.
There were three teams: rich, normal and poor.
Rich had all sorts of luxury, Normal were, well, normal (Rolly) and Poor slept outside... The winner gets a million euros!

A year? }C/{

There have been three seasons here, I watched the first two almost daily, but the third season bored me... That was the one where they introduced the rich and poor sides: the teams had to do assignments, and the team who won got to spend the week on the rich side. There have also been Celebrity Big Brother-episodes: but they just stayed in the house for 5 days, and they had way more privacy than the normal contestants.

Anyway, I should be proud of Big Brother: it's a Dutch concept! Go John de Mol!
